A virtual gala AND a donor thank you event? YES!
In response to COVID-19 and in line with both Governor Brown's and the CDC's recommendations for public safety during this global health crisis, Dress for Success Oregon has made the decision to make significant changes to our Celebrate Success gala and have cancelled our event at the Portland Art Museum.
HOWEVER, we will still be CELEBRATING SUCCESS this year, just differently! On April 24th, join us for our first-ever VIRTUAL GALA AND AUCTION!
On April 24th, we invite you and your friends and family to join us online for our virtual Celebrate Success gala where you will still get to hear from our amazing auctioneer, Misty Marquam, our hostess-with-the-mostest, Poison Waters, as well as from Dress for Success Oregon clients who want to share their stories with you. Virtual gala guests will still get to bid on enticing auction packages, and donate directly to us to sustain our mission and help Dress for Success Oregon weather these rough and uncertain waters. All sponsors, ticket holders, and table hosts will be the first to get the link to our online event platform, so keep an eye out for more details to come!
But wait, there's more! We want to make sure your gala attire still gets its night out on the town. Join us on September 11th at the Oregon Historical Society for our "Dreams of Success" Donor Thank You Event! This glam soiree will be available to all Celebrate Success sponsors, table hosts and their guests, and ticket holders, or to anyone who bids or donates $200 or more at the April 24th virtual gala. Meet our Athena Award Winners, feast on heavy hors d'oeuvres, and dance the night away in fun and mysterious masquerade masks. Most importantly, this night will be a thank you event with no expectation of additional giving in honor of all those who are sticking with us during this difficult and uncertain time.
It's a brave new world for all of us, but we are excited to share with the world how wonderful our sponsors, table hosts, and supporters have been, and how you pulled together with us to accomplish the goal of raising crucial support for womxn in need!
Stay tuned as we reveal the new platforms and ways we are planning to support the work we do for womxn in need and to honor you, our sponsors, donors, and guests. You can still sponsor this event; you can still buy "tables" and tickets! Know that these gifts will help us continue our vital work and give you access to the exciting ways we will be Celebrate Success in 2020!
WHAT IS CELEBRATE SUCCESS?
Celebrate Success is Dress for Success Oregon's largest and most anticipated fundraiser of the year, celebrating the success of womxn in our community while raising crucial support for womxn in need. We helped over 1,600 womxn with the funds raised at Celebrate Success in 2019!
By donating to or sponsoring this event, you are supporting an organization that provides a lifeline to hundreds of womxn and their families each year.
